Assistant Surgeon, Dera Ghazi Khan A Hindu adult male, after receiving severe head injuries, proceeded from one place to another in search of assistance, but failing to find any he finally went to the local police station and made a report as to how the injuries were received. The search entailed a walk of well over two miles. The following injuries were found after death :? On the right side of the head there was a large contusion covered with blood clot in the temporal region with a smaller one behind the ear. The right eye was displaced by a large orbital hajmatoma. He also had a contusion over the left parietal region. There was a comminuted fracture of the right parietal bone, and a fracture of the base of the skull extending into the middle fossa, with rupture of the right middle meningeal artery and a large extra-dural blood clotThere was also a small contusion in the frontal area of the brain.
